Classes and Activities
Arts & Sciences Meetings
Arts and Science meetings are scheduled weekly, often in collaboration with Scribal workshops. Locations are rotated. Special classes and workshops are often scheduled throughout the year.
Contact the Minister of Arts and Sciences for more information.
Each year as the weather cools and leaves consider falling, the Kingdoms of Meridies and Trimaris meet in the shared Panhandle area of Florida to test their mettle against each other. On the fields of battle and in the halls of the Arts and Sciences warriors, artisans, and scholars compete to the glory of their Kingdoms. The Meridian Shire of Flintmarsh and the Trimaran Barony of Oldenfeld rotate and share hosting duties and responsibilities. This event is open to the public.
Each year the Flintmarsh family gathers together for a day of renewal, camaraderie, fun, and feasting in anticipation and celebration of the winter holidays. Although this event is not open to the public, past, present, new, and prospective members of the shire and their families are welcomed.
Every other year, as Winter wanes and a hint of Spring is in the air, Flintmarshians welcome Baba Marta, or “Granny March” with classes, clashes, and celebrations. This event is open to the public.
Palio di Flintmarsh
On alternating years from Baba Marta, Flintmarshians begin grooming their (hobby) horses for the great Palio di Flintmarsh, an epic race from here to there. Celebrating all things Italian and reknown for it’s epic feasting, the Palio is not to be missed. This event is open to the public.
